The room was very small but very nicely decorated. The water.predsure and shower head were great. There was no closet, no hairdryer, no iron. There was an air cleaner and a dehumidifier in the room which had a light on it that was too bright. The heater/AC unit did not work properly and it was 48° that night so the room was much too cold. Check out time was 11:00 a.m., we had been to a wedding the night before and were asleep at 9:00 in the morning when someone knocked on the door and said they were housekeeping and needed to come in to check the heating unit. We said it was off and not working and we were still sleeping.

Beautiful room! Newly built! Very clean! Internet was very spotty and didnt work properly. owner was very responsive but not helpful with fixing the internet. The door lock is remotely controlled. So there was no internal bolt so i can feel assured that no one will unlock by accident! Technology is great but not with securing that my door is locked. Shower had alot of hot water. Strong pressure!

Amazing location
Loved our stay at Casa Del Mar. Our room was new, very clean and simple beach decor.The location right across the street from the water was amazing. Casa is located away from the action of the boardwalk so it is very quiet but close enough to walk to. There are many really good restaurants nearby. The staff is so helpful and nice. All around great stay and will definitely return.

This property is ALL SHOW and NO QUALITY. No customer service whatsoever. I called and texted, as indicated to do on confirmation email, with no response before arrival. Check in was at 3pm. Asked for an early check in when I arrived in person and was given a basic “No” with nothing else. When I asked again, I was then told 2pm might be ok and that they “probably won’t charge me” for being early. I arrived again at 1:40pm and was told I couldn’t even just park my car in the lot to walk to the beach while I waited for my room. I then paid for parking across thedespite the almost $500/night cost on a weekday. One would think that some accommodation would be given for that price tag. When I finally was able to check in, looking at the room, it is beautifully decorated. However, upon inspection, there was a hair on one of the towels and then a hair in the bed when we turned it down for the night. The fridge is a big wine fridge but was loud and I heard it all night. The room felt damp all night despite the A/C on. The outside door to the room does not keep the outdoor light out of the room. When addressing complaints to the “manager” the next day, she asked me for photographic proof of the hairs found. My complaints fell on deaf ears as there was no care or accommodation given. They told me they don’t own the hotel. I asked who to contact and was not given that information. I will NEVER return to this poorly run hotel. I suggest you save your money and go somewhere else

had a great stay here! walking distance to a lot of restaurants and very close to the water to fish. the only thing was the AC was confusing to turn on because we went in and the room was so hot. we clicked start but it would only blast for 10 secs then stop working. could be me though. there was also a lot of hair left i assume from the previous guests in the bathroom that ended up on our towels. Overall it was a great experience and the staff was responsive and nice! Especially the guy in the cafe, i saw him responding to a lot of the clients who were staying there.

We loved our stay at Casa Del Mar! There really is nothing like it in the area which we loved. All rooms are modern and designed very nicely. Good layout too. The bathroom is especially modern, clean, and a good size for a smaller room. Very easy to check in! The woman at the front of the motel was so nice. Huge bonus is that it is located Basically right across from the manasquan inlet, so great water views are right outside your door. We have no complaints, we will be back!

Ok, but not great
The location is good and the room is clean. For a room at this cost I was surprised that early check-in was an additional $50. Also the cancellation policy is really strange. You need to cancel a week before (even in the off season) to get full refund. Within a week you are charged for the first night but neither the website nor the manager could give me a clear answer on how to avoid being charged for all the other nights as well. Rooms are nicely furnished but the light outside the room is timed to go on every three minutes, and the blinds do very little to block this light. Lastly, be aware that this is a very small place, with only 9-10 rooms, most of them right next to the parking lot. The whole lot is about the size of a gas station.

I had a wonderful stay at Casa del Mar! It is in a perfect location, within walking distance to a few restaurants and the beach. The room was very clean and modern and the staff were incredibly friendly. The café on site is also so cute, with excellent coffee and muffins. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone!

The hotel itself was nice - except that the mirror hanging over the bed was attached by basically a thumb nail. It fell on my husband's head while he was in bed. I told the staff about this and I was surprised at how dismissive they were. I didn't dramatize the event because my husband didn't have to go to the hospital or anything- but he did have a headache for the rest of the day. I would've thought the staff would've expressed more genuine regrets for his experience. Or offered some sort of discount. Even just a free coffee or something! P.S.the mirror had spokes on them which were all covered in dust - so when it fell, both me and my husband were dust bombed. My eyes and nose are still itching!

Pretty room, wonderful location
The Casa Del Mar room was lovely, well appointed, very updated with a Keurig and a brand new microwave. Parking was on site and the location is very close to everything you need. I would recommend calling and confirming the reservation if booked well in advance.

Hidden Gem of the Shore
We stayed here while visiting family in the area and it's a great property. Right by the water (inlet and beach) and top restaurants within a short walk. We were there in the off season, so it was quiet anyhow, but the location is just off the beaten path so I imagine it would be one of the more quiet places in the area during the high season. Don't let the "motel" footprint dissuade you. It "feels" like a boutique property. Very well appointed, clean and fresh.

We really love how the owners have renovated this place. And Mickey is a great manager, who absolutely does whatever it takes to make the guests happy. Even in times like these when help is hard to find, she dives in and does what's necessary. The rooms are impeccably clean, and well-appointed. High quality linens, high-quality toiletries, and all the necessities that you would need for a stay at the shore.

Pleasantly surprised
The room was just as pictured. I believe the property was recently renovated. Everything seemed newer. The ac was a little noisy a few times during the night, and the bathroom (mostly shower) wasn’t as clean as I’d like. The location is convenient and far enough away from the bustle of the boardwalk.

Perfect location
This is a great small hotel on Ocean Ave. We loved the location near the water and boardwalk. Simple room with fridge and microwave. WiFi was down the last day we were there but the management didn’t say anything to us until we asked. They came to our room to explain, but it was hard to be online the entire day.

It was clearly a recently renovated motel. However that also meant some of the kinks have yet to be worked out: no plug by the coffee maker, lack of storage space for clothes and luggage racks. Otherwise the location was great and the staff was very accommodating with questions and services needed.

Casa Del Mar is a surgically clean, well-appointed hotel run by extremely attentive and hospitable staff. It’s situated in a quiet, yet central location to some of Point Pleasant Beach’s finest restaurants, the Manasquan Inlet and the boardwalk. It may cost a few bucks more than other places, but the mattress alone is worth every penny!
