"Great property, fabulous view!!! Some reviews make it sound like getting there is a nightmare with a long journey and endless stairs. The pubic access road ends about 200 meters from the unit. There may be stairs depending on which floor your unit is on but the marble lane from the public road is smooth with no stairs. Parking nearby can be a challenge. I dropped off my wife and the luggage at a bench just 200 meters from the unit and then went to park the car. We should have sent one person...

"First we need to give the family (staff) that runs this fantastic hotel 10 stars, 5 stars just not enough. Super helpful in recommending many restaurants, a winery tour, where to park, etc. Also went above and beyond helping us sort out an issue with a Viator boat trip we wanted to cancel. They pepared fantastic breakfasts. Wonderful, fun people we are glad to have met. The room spotless, bed comfortable, bathroom excellent!"

"The room was absolutely beautiful and the terrace with the hot tub, outdoor shower and lounge furniture were fantastic! The location was perfect - walkable to everywhere and 2 very short blocks to the main cobblestone street with all the restaurants. The included breakfast was generous and delicious and the spa facility was great, complete with stone vaulted ceilings, robes and slippers. The “cold” shower wasn’t cold enough for a cold plunge effect but wonderful anyway. The sauna and steam were...
