"We enjoyed a wonderful overnight stay. Historic inn; very well-maintained; excellent food and libations; live music on the weekend. Lovely suite, very comfortable bed, nice amenities. "It’s possible a lot of what I found disappointing in the property was poor timing. The hotel was sold on Sunday and we checked in Tuesday. After a long day of traveling we just wanted to check in, relax at the bar with a drink, and go to sleep. However, the bar wasn’t open. We were then told the elevator wasn’t working and but thankfully we were only on the 2nd floor. The continental breakfast was yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, or bagels…. but no toaster. "We stayed in the guesthouse which was very nice. Only problem was the coffee pot in the entryway would not work. We just walked to the office and got coffee. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Loved the breakfast at the cafe which is right besie the Inn. Inn gives you a $12.00 voucher for each person to eat there and it was excellent and plentiful. Also the girls at the desk at the Inn were very friendly and helped you with any questions. Would highly recommend this Inn."

"Very disappointing experience. The room was not clean when we arrived. The restroom was dirty, and the bed sheets appeared not to have been changed from the previous guest. This made us feel very uncomfortable and concerned about the hotel’s cleanliness standards. I immediately reported these issues to the front desk. "For the price, the hotel isn’t terrible, but could definitely use some upgrading and maintenance. The elevator moved very slowly and was loud like it was struggling. The A/C in my room was very loud and barely blowing, and the ceilings in my room were cracked all the way around and down the middle. Property was clean overall, but definitely needs some work."
