We were delighted to have booked Le Provencal. The setting in Gien is perfect, with both easy access to the village and also front line access to the sea via the well maintained gardens, pool & bathing platforms. The pool area and coastline are magical. The service from all of the Le Provencal team was helpful and friendly, of particular note was the 'pool manager'. This is like being abroad in a magical surrounding. This property is amazing. There is a restaurant on the beach and nearby a few more options. Set in a pine forest on the beach with a great pool too. Can’t wait to go back!

What a wonderful place, full of history and uniquely charming- the pool was amazing too! Staff were friendly and we learned a bit of French wartime history, for which we felt proud and grateful.

A place of tranquility where you are at ease in a beautiful garden, nice pool to cool down. Franck and Colette are welcoming and always helpful, but mostly make you feel at home. We have an electric car. There is a slow charger in the parking for emergency, and a good, cheap, charger of 22KW about 200 meters away.
