"This hotel is filled with beautiful glass art from top to bottom. The location is perfect for taking in museums or shows. We appreciated that it was clean, quiet and chic. Parking was easy."

"the hotel was great! Very clean, everyone was very helpful and super kind. The ice machine was out of service on our floor, I went to the lobby to get ice and I had barely exited the elevator when the bellmen sees me with ice bucket and kindly extended his hand and said let me get that for you. I had not even uttered a word. Granted perhaps that was obvious, but that small act was a very kind and made me stop to notice how great all the staff was. My husband has approached the front desk for suggestions on good seafood restaurants and the front desk team spoke to him as a friend, no someone they have to talk to. The staff really makes this place shine! Thank you for making our trip memorable!"

"I only had an overnight stay. I chose the continental breakfast option... which basically is a pre-pay on a fixed menu at Pacific Provisions Café & Wine Bar located in the hotel. The food was delicious and highly convenient considering I needed to get to my train by 9:50am and there really are no other food choices nearby. The bathroom was tiny...just enough room for the tub/shower and a toilet (which was RIGHT next to the tub which made it a bit difficult to use IYKWIM). The room was a bit warm when I got there (it may have just been me from walking up the hills since the heater was turned off). One of the windows opened a smidge to cool it down in there but there are no screens to keep anything from flying into the room... happily my stay was in October so I didn't come back into the room with bugs flying around (I forgot to shut it when I left to explore the city). The bed was comfortable and there was actually a pillow that I could use... most hotels only offer the way-too-soft pillows that hurt my neck to sleep on... this hotel had at least one harder pillow that I prefer always. All that being said... I would totally stay here again."

"The staff was welcoming and helped us with our requests promptly. We appreciated the upkeep of an old hotel with a history. The only issue was that the heaters in the room didn’t work, but they sent up space heaters immediately, when we told them about the issue. The restaurant was convenient and the food and service were excellent. Also, close to the hospital and downtown - convenient!"
