"We love this hotel having stayed twice in the last two years. This hotel is a very quiet and tranquil place, full of character. Set in beautiful surroundings, and only minutes from the town centre and a short drive to an amazing beach. The rooms are immaculate, with a luxury feel to everything. Bedrooms and bathrooms are really spacious, the mini fridge means you can have proper milk which they provide, to make proper brews and have nespresso machines for decent coffee. The honesty bar works well and didnt seem extortionate for the convenience. The staff serving the continental breakfast and cleaning the hotel, are so helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. We opted for a cooked breakfast at the sister hotel, a five minute drive away, (we have also stayed at this hotel, which is also stunning but modern hotel). The breakfast was fabulous and the best coffee we found in the area. The staff here are also amazing, nothing is too much trouble, both hotels are well worth paying the extra for! Great place for nature lovers, we saw a fox, badger, hare within a few metres of us, and numerous birds when walking in the adjoining meadow. Check in at the sister hotel is easy, the staffed reception desk check you in and provide a map of how to get to the priory, and a floor plan of the priory so you know exactly where you are going. The keys they give you, opens the front door and your room, so no hassle getting in. Ample parking for the number of rooms, with 2 ev chargers."

"Excellent property, really friendly staff. Fantastic views. Found a few issues like the lights didn't work then we managed to get them working. Glass in bathroom over looked the main house and could be seen through (needs top of window screening) stuck towel over it. One one tea spoon at the breakfast table. Two chairs needed to watch TV only one provided. Needed more flowers and generally prettying up. Could be so much nicer there."

"The location of the hotel was ideal. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, but could do with sprucing up and updating. The bed was comfortable, and the shower over the bath was nice and powerful. The staff were friendly. The bar and restaurant were cosy and the breakfast room was light and bright. We had the continental breakfast, which was lovely, with a choice of cereals, fabulous choice of fresh fruit and juices, ham & cheese, Danish pastries, toast, and individual pots of tea & coffee. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone and would stay therr again."
