Mark Spencer Hotel
Staff were courteous and efficient. Highlights for me were the light and lovely space of a corner room with luscious linens on a king bed, and really hot water and fluffy towels in the bathroom. The hotel has a long history of supporting musicians and artists, which is also nice to see.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Downtown
They let us switch rooms after we were placed originally near a club which had loud bass that we had a hard time sleeping through, pool was cool and breakfast was good.
