Amazing views of Porto, perfect location to walk

Lovely studio apartment. Amazing views of Porto that cannot be beat. easily walkable to everything needed. Would highly recommend for a stay.

Not just a pretty view… ..but what a pretty view! This is a very comfortable stylish and well equipped apartment right on the doorstep of the great Port houses, and very close to the cathedral and most of what Porto has to offer. Extremely helpful host Elisabeth met us and guided us to our allocated parking spot which is only 100 yards or so away along the Douro riverfront, with its restaurants and port experiences. If you'd rather eat in, the kitchen area is spacious and you can cook with ease, with THAT view on your right shoulder. Very special!

The location is fantastic. My wife and I enjoyed all aspects of our 6 day stay at the Douro Story. We were very impressed with everything! Elizabeth was an excellent host. Restaurants and winery’s are a minute away.

Great location

The location is absolutely great, super close to the lovely restaurants in the area. The place is well equipped as far as I could tell but we didn't use the kitchen. There's a bit of noise at night due to the same reason but all in all a great place to stay. The view at night is simply breathtaking. Just make sure you close the blinds or there's a street light just outside the window that'll simply blind you if you'll pardon the pun. Having access to off street parking also really sold the place!

Great Stay at Duoro Story!

The Best Aspect of Duoro Story 2 was my communication with Elizabeth! She is the manager, and she is AWESOME!!! So appreciate her prompt responses, meeting me for checking in and helping me get there, as well as helping me with my luggage and taking me to park the car! Just Incredible! As well the Apartment was everything described! Obrigado, Elizabeth!

Douro Story is an excellent apartment with an amazing view of the river and city. My room was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. What made my stay most enjoyable was Elizabeth. She is the sweetest most thoughtful property manager that I have encountered in my many travels across the world. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Porto to stay at Douro Story.

From the first communication with Elizabeth everything was a breeze. We communicated easily on whatsapp. The home is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous balcony views of the river and the bridge. She provided us with a delicious fruit platter and sent us tips on what to do and restaurants to go to. We also received complementary drinks on arrival at their restaurant where we were able to drink our drinks along the river. We had the best time in Porto! Thank you so so much Elizabeth! Highly highly recommend this place!

Amazing place and location only to be outdone by the owner Elizabeth and her team who were exceptional in every aspect of our stay from booking to departure. Included in the stay were some extra's at their restaurant which we really enjoyed. I have stayed in Porto before but this was by far the best and will make it my go to place any time I return or refer to friends who are headed to Porto.

Douro Story

La estancia en el apartamento Douro Story ha sido inmejorable. Nuestro apartamento contaba con unas vistas espectaculares al río. El apartamento está perfectamente equipado, productos de limpieza, plancha de ropa, utensilios para la cocina, secador de pelo...etc Realizan una limpieza de la habitación y cambio de toallas un día si y otro no. Además está todo nuevo, exactamente igual que en las fotos. Darle las gracias a Elizabeth por su hospitalidad y trato, ha sido muy muy amable con nosotros, nos recibió a la hora que llegamos y fue muy cercana con nosotros, además nos ofreció un mapa de oporto y nos dijo las cosas que podíamos hacer. De verdad merece muchísimo la pena lo que se paga, mi pareja y yo hemos pasado 5 días estupendos en este apartamento y repetiremos seguro si volvemos a Oporto, y 100% lo recomendaremos. Una de las noches cenamos en el restaurante del propietario del apartamento , en la taberniha do manel, cena perfecta y muy buena con vistas al rio. Hay un parking a dos minutos andando del hotel y por 17 euros puedes dejar el coche 24 horas, así que por parking no hay problema. Le doy un 10 a este apartamento y por que no le puedo dar más, no le puedo poner ninguna pega. De nuevo muchas gracias por todo Elizabeth, nos has echo sentir como en casa. :) Miranda y Simo.
