"We had an amazing experience with everything at Hotel Plaza Calon. The staff were amazing! Very helpful and friendly. Employees were always cleaning. The grounds were very well maintained. Our room was very comfortable and we loved the private patio area. We would 1000% stay here again!"

"First of all, the pics shown for this property are outdated as this house is no longer yellow, it's now white. We were told that the check in was at 2pm; however, the house was not ready until 4pm, then the pics that shows multiple bunkbeds is also incorrect as there were only two mattresses directly on the floor. The lady coordinating the check-in blamed their office for having inaccuracies on their listing. After going back and forth she agreed to bring in a couple more mattresses in order to...

"This is a large and Cabin in a natural habitat so those who want to stay here typically would have different standards than someone who wanted to stay in a tradition. I do both. For this type of experience I’m really enjoyed the atmosphere and the host and all the wildlife and hiking and peace so I highly enjoyed it and recommend it."

"This is a pretty expensive hotel for the location. The reception was closed and I had to call for help at the pool VHF-radio... Very few people speaks English. I stayed in a suite, which has a nice bed, almost the only good thing about the place. On day 2 afternoon I wanted to take a shower, but as on day 1 no hot water and after a few attempts no water at all, not even cold. No reception. The pool area is okay, but no people. no breakfast, fancy full service menu in a small booklet, but no...

The rooms on the first floor with volcano views from the veranda are great - worth paying extra for. Tasty, generous breakfast.
