"Mold in the shower."

"The room had such a strong dog odor it sickend and kept me awake. The manager came and sprayed air freshener on the carpets and floor, but within a half hour that foul odor came back. I felt I should have gotten a refund. Otherwise the facility was relatively clean. They should have some rooms set aside for non pet owners and should remove carpeting."

"You have to present ID for every guest. When you check-in, which I've never heard of before. They had cable that didn't work. So it was unable to watch TV for half of my stay, and the free breakfast was breakfast at a McDonald's next to the property."

At the time of booking, there was no indication that the pool was out of service or that the gym was closed. These are important amenities, and both the hotel and Expedia should ensure that such information is clearly disclosed before guests make a reservation. "Desk clerk was very helpful and pleasant. Parking in front of rooms. Clean room. We have stayed there in the past 3 years. Very close to Presque Isle beaches."

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! An absolute hell hole , have a “maintenance man” living in the parking lot . The fridge was broken and not fixed, the ac was broken and not fixed . The room claimed it accommodated 12 people but only accommodated 3 people . An the staff is a nightmare. Spent 400 for 2 nights and in the family room you’re only proved a microwave so we were grilling and they told us that it’s not allowed and made us cook elsewhere . Take your hard earned money elsewhere"

"Other than the welcoming and helpful staff, our stay was totally disappointing. We reserved a king room which was very tight. The bathroom layout was particularly difficult to navigate. The toilet was low and the shower was a real squeeze. The hallways were not air conditioned and the carpets stained. The exercise room was also not airconditioned and felt like a sauna. Although we have stayed at several Country Inn and Suites in other locations, this one was HORRIBLE!! Never again!"

"The hotel is an older but was updated in some areas. Breakfast area was clean and food was amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. If I’m the Erie area again I would definitely stay again"

Great location, 15 min to presque isle, 5 min to excellent mall. Quiet property, good parking. The only thing I didn't like was no bathtub in room, shower only."
