The jacuzzi was out of order. The tv remote was missing a battery. The floor had trash on it underneath the tv stand. The refrigerator freezer needs defrosted.

We have used this hotel for years through many owners/ management transitions. New owners have made many updates and staff remain very friendly and helpful. Our latest room was a huge upgrade a large double king with a whirlpool tub . clean room. Only issue was no towels when they were expecting 4' guest in the room, we used our beach towel we planned on using for our routine pool dip. Our grandaughter was devastated the pool wasnt available even we we were told it would be ready in a half an hour. If we had knownthis we would have used another hotel in area with pool. We enjoyed our room but again were shocked and disappointed by the continenteal breakfast. At our last visit it was huge and satisfying this time is was an embarassment. My graddaughter had cold cereal in a half of a plastic take out container as there were no bowls! Only one fuit choice and the waffle maker was off and no subst. We finally checked out early went "out to breakfast" and left Presque Isle early. We will use them again but will call to check on the amenities before confirming. We have family in the area and plan to visit regularly. Hope things this trip were a fluke

The room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast area needs to be attended more frequently. It needs to be restocked and cleaned more frequently. The staff was always available if we needed something. The pool was closed as was the fitness room for remodeling. I wish I would have known that.

Positives: comfortable bed. Negatives: unsafe!! sketchy people outside til after midnight every night, security doors were jimmied as well as the swimming pool door. The pool was padlocked and couldn't be used. No water in the shower. There is a restaurant in the hotel that hsd a band and there was undercover security in place.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is comfortable staying in a non-corporate and somewhat dated property. The rooms seem to have been updated recently; ours was updated, clean and comfortable, with new bedding. I have no complaints, and overall I think this was incredible value for what we paid. Several comments have dinged the property for the condition of the parking lot, age of the building, etc. It's true the property needs some work, and the owners are making progress. If you need to be in a modern Hilton or Marriott property, and old-time vibes put you off, then maybe skip this one. For me, I would stay here again.

So dirty had 3 beer caps on my floor, floor was sticky and the long term residents made the atmosphere less than desirable, and not because they were long-term because of the stuff they were allowed to get away with smoking in the building, cleanliness of themselves and their surround I left early with no refund

the hallways all night were noisy with people draging seemingly furniture around , talking and hollaring and laughing throug out the night, talking and laughing nearly right outside our door , wife didnt feel safe we couldnt understand a thing they were saying .they seem to be in the middle of a remodel but site states it was remodeled. dont know to whos standards , the breakfast was a joke with half done hard boiled eggs and waffles , everything other than hard muffins was gone, and it was early after opening . will not return

It was a nice and clean property. Great entertaining place with Timeout Sports Bar & Grill great place to hang out. Had a comfortable stay. Absolutely fabulous breakfast loved every bite! Kids enjoyed indoor Swimming pool the most.

It was a place to lay my head. The toilet leaked so it kept filling up every 5 minutes and it was noisey. The mattress had body divets on both sides of the bed. The breakfast in the morning was very limited, but I half expected that. The hallway smelled of marijuana. The entryway was very fragrant. The staff at the front desk were friendly.
