I have been very ill and only just able to travel again and they left me a beautiful hand written card along with Prosecco and a little teddy . They went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect stay . All the staff were so friendly and helpful . The champagne bar is lovely and the location is very central . "Wow factor! This was a one night stay but will always be remembered . Warm greeting from Lorraine and explanation of the hotel and local attractions. The particular room we had was excellent with great character and comfortable bed. The next morning we had a delicious selection of starters for breakfast followed by a home cooked Scottish breakfast. We will return in the future for sure. I would absolutely recommend this hotel"

"The Alamo Guest House was lovely, in a great location across from a lovely park. Easy access to everything …. transport, museums, restaurants, etc. The staff were exceptional. Great breakfast offered."

"Room was nice and clean. Property seemed well maintained. Gym was a bit small could’ve used a few mats but worked just fine. Only negative was the laundry facilities………only one washer and dryer for all guests, and seems the hotel was using it too, so even more limited. (They were washing the pet cloths). Even with that we’d stay there again! Great staff and space!"
