"Recommended, beautiful resort, friendly staff. Two great pool areas and restaurant albeit a little expensive. Rooms are well equipped and clean. Car is a must if you want to get to Beaches and restaurants, although there is a good Bus service that runs hourly but is a 10-15 minute walk from the resort and not recommended after dark. Nearest Restaurant Santa Maria Pizzeria which is on main road is a must visit, great atmosphere with a real Italian family vibe and great food."

"The staff was welcoming and helpful. The pool was really nice and they also had a shuttle to the beach. The restaurant was great for dinner and breakfast. We did a self supporting cycling trip and this hotel was perfect for our overnight stay!"

"Food was amazing!!! Cabin was beautiful. The beach was a short walk and amazing to swim in. We loved our stay here and if we ever come back to Sardinia we would stay here again!! Beds aren't as soft as I like but it was ok. You get charged for water if you take the bottle. But you can refill your glass without the charge. So just leave the bottle and go back to refil your glass. If you dont purchase the full meal option you will get charged 30 euros each for lunch. But really you can eat so much at breakfast and supper who needs the lunch. If you do want lunch have it added when you reserve your room it is much cheaper. The 30 euros is worth it if you like lunch too tho we did try it one day yo see how it was. Ee were not disappointed once with any if our meals and we were there for 5 days. Staff is the friendliest we have experienced on our trip to Italy. But we honestly found all people friendlier and happier in Sardinia than anywhere else in Italy (we went to Rome, Pisa, Venice, Udine, Monfalcone, Trieste, Amalfi coast, Capri and then to Sardinia) I would strongly recommend just go to Sardinia and stay at this resort, you will LOVE it. Thank you so much for everything at your beautiful resort ❤️- a couple of travelling Canadians"

"Really enjoyed our 3 night stay! Totally switched off and chilled out. We were also treated so well by the resort. My husband requested for my birthday a nice view, which was honoured not only that we were given a bottle of fizz to celebrate and a drink at the bar! A fabulous stay. Thanks to all!"

"This is the fabulous hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. Our room maid was particularly nice and friendly. Despite neither of us knowing each other’s language particularly well, she went out of her way to make sure we had all we needed and were comfortable The hotel is extremely clean and very well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed using the spa. We had massages with Marco. He was excellent, extremely professional and the massage was exceptional, tailored exactly to what we were looking for. I highly recommend him. We only had breakfast at the hotel, so I can’t comment on the restaurants, they looked lovely though. There was a good choice at breakfast. I would’ve liked a few more hot vegetarian/vegan options. But there was plenty of cold options, lots of different nuts, fruit, salad, biscuits etc. There is a vegan corner and gluten-free corner also. The beach is beautiful as are the grounds of the hotel. The lounger area is really nice. There are fitness classes and stretching on the beach (very good) & a lifeguard right in front of the loungers. We loved swimming in the sea. We use the free shuttle to town, it finishes at 9 pm, but we enjoyed the walk back which only took 25 minutes. There are plenty of Taxi options available and the hotel are always willing to help you out with booking anything. We also used the free bikes, that was a bonus too. We had maxed out our budget a bit with the hotel, but we found it to be good value, especially with the sp"

The Village - Chia Laguna Sardinia

8/10 Good

"Lovely room with mini fridge, great shower and balcony and really comfortable beds. Brilliant free activities for kids and teens morning 10am, afternoon 3pm and night 9pm. Watch out for the special kids activities like art classes that come with an extra charge as these at €25 are quite pricey. Activities for adults and kids are shared across three hotels in Chia Laguna so padel and table tennis were across the road but only a couple of minutes walk. There was no yoga on when we stayed which was disappointing. Food at Domus restaurant was plentiful and varied, no junk food which was great but no pizza or gelati (if you want pizza or ice cream you need to buy it from the piazza bar). Restaurant servers were not very friendly, except for the guys bringing out the food who were excellent and very helpful. There is an optional surcharge added to your bill on check out for tips for waiting staff. There is handy free road train that goes to the beautiful sandy beach nearby every 15 minutes which is brilliant. The water is clear and safe for swimming. There is a beach bar for drinks snd ice cream and an excellent water sports centre. We went horse riding near the hotel: 1hr beginners ride €45pp. We only spent a little time by the hotel pool which has a snack bar because the sun beds were so hard and uncomfortable. The beach sun loungers are divided up by hotel so the Village section has hard sun loungers. Conrad guests get lovely padded loungers so we used them in the back row."
