Amazing Historical Property

My family and I spent one night at the Orman Mansion on our way back to Denver from Carlsbad. We were contacted with check-in instructions early in the day and were able to arrange a later than normal check-in time. When we arrived we were greeted by one of the owner's of the property and told we had the whole place to ourselves and were able to explore the open areas. My children (ages 10 & 12) enjoyed exploring the house and properly. The house is gorgeous and the owners have made it feel like it would have a century ago (with the addition of modern electricity and wi-fi). We enjoyed looking at each room and the details of art, historical books, historical toys, etc. really added to the experience. The owners shared information with us on local restaurants and included a coupon for breakfast at a local establishment. This was our first trip to Pueblo, so this was incredibly convenient as our dinner and breakfast were both amazing. My family and I enjoy the boutique hotel experience and the Orman Mansion was absolute an amazing stay and worth the additional cost of a standard hotel room.

Beautiful Historical Stay

Really, really gracious hosts that love and respect historical buildings. The Mansion was absolutely fantastic and we'll stay nowhere else now when we are in Pueblo. Very unique property. The beds we stayed in were very high, so may not be suitable for very old/ small people, but one of them did have a stair/stool. Highly recommend.

Orman Mansion—Wow! This is a super cool property! We stayed in the Exclusive King suite. It was huge with tons of storage and a top shelf en suite bathroom w/large soaker tub and tile walk in shower. The manor had beautiful historical characteristics and was furnished and decorated exquisitely. Within 5 minutes of the Pueblo River Walk which is a must—especially during Christmas because it is lit up and looks magical! While you are there, dine at Twenty-One Steak! You will love the entire experience. We have stayed at several places when we come to visit our daughter and grand babies from North Carolina-and the Orman Mansion is our favorite place. Very reasonably priced too!

Awesome experience

The Orman Mansion is amazing. The two young brothers who own it took a historic mansion that was badly deteriorating and turned it into a beautiful historic hotel. It’s close to the Rosemont Museum so if you tour it, you’ll almost feel like you’re sleeping in it at the Orman.

I booked this for our 12 year anniversary thinking this would be a great experience. At the time of booking and review, this place was/still is labeled as a Bed & Breakfast with "Free cooked-to-order breakfast available daily". Little did we know that this property is NOT at all a Bed & Breakfast and instead they handed us a lousy very low valued voucher for the both of us to use at a local breakfast restaurant which for 2 basic breakfast plates and coffee with taxes/tip wouldnt even cover half. Massive disappointment this was not a Bed & Breakfast. The owners should and do know these descriptions are outright deceptive lies. The property and rooms are very beautiful, cool and unique. There is no full time on-site employee. I would liken this property to a large AirBnB certainly NOT a Bed & Breakfast
