This was our 2nd year staying at Hotel Pueblito. We stayed in a master suite again, each one is a little different . 307 has a nice size closet but the drawer space is limited. Liked the remodel around the pool area, lots more room for all. Staff is friendly and available. The taxi stand is next door and getting to the airport was easy. This is on a busy, noisy street but inside is quiet.

The hotel left much to be desired. Here are some of the issues: 1. Front desk was not welcoming. The individual did not introduce himself, did not smile, did not seem caring or considerate. He was preoccupied with his phone. 2. Room security for the door was average. Knob lock, deadbolt, and metal key. Knob was not high quality. 3. Room had few amenities. The bedroom had little in the way of available plugs for chargers. Temperature control for air-conditioning lacked strong power. No soap. Toilets flush had minimal strength. Beds were comfortable and clean - best feature! Blankets were there to use if needed. 4. Dual shower knobs were average, with lack of clear temperature control. One morning shower took five minutes to sufficiently heat up. 5. Check out was strange and embarrassing. We brought the key down to the front desk, and the desk attendant, without a word, got on a walkie talkie and asked a staff member to look at our room. We waited, feeling like potential criminals. The word came back on the walkie talkie and we were cleared to leave. It was the first smile we saw from him. 6. There is another aspect which is beyond the hotel's control, and tbat is simply that the location isn't fully a clean or safe area for families. It is more a working street, ten minutes walk from the beach, as well as some nice restaurants and clubs in the Zona Romantica. Construction across the street contributed to a sense of disorder.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made for a very welcoming experience. However, the room layout was not ideal—there was no closet, making it difficult to organize and store our clothes. Additionally, the space in the room was extremely limited, which may not be suitable for families or those needing more room to move comfortably. On a positive note, the taco place across the street was absolutely delicious and a definite highlight of the stay.

Only 7 loungers and people think by putting a towel on them that they can claim them for the whole day even though they’re never there. Our room had 3 forks, 3 spoons and 3 knives. Asked for a balcony suite and got one but wasn’t allowed to open the doors due to hydro wires. Not new but functional. Nice staff, helpful and friendly.

I spend 2 months at this hotel everything is excent. Most pf the accommodations arr on an inside court so little steet noise. I hada standard room with a kind bed the first month and a one bedroom unit kitchen living room and bedroom with 2 beds. Both super clean and homie. The roof top pool is superbe The staff is exceptional and helpful. Special thanks to José and Diego. Love you all. I will definitely come back at hotel Pueblito Vallarta. XXX

An older building but not in bad shape. My issues were with the lack of water pressure in the sinks - the water pressure in the shower was good, but NO hot water. The wi-fi was spotty in the evening and didn’t work at all in the morning.

Great location! The staff were very friendly, and the pool was quite nice. The room was well done with plenty of natural light. The curtains were thick so it blocked out the morning sun quite well. I would definitely return.

While I did have to wait to check in (3pm,) the room was large and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the location was great. Lots of food trucks and stands in the area as well as it being only 4-5 blocks from the beach.

Staff was very courteous and friendly, I mean everyone was so helpful and treated us very well, specially after that unfortunate event that happened. The hotel is in a great location, everything is within walking distance, and let’s just be honest here if you go on a vacation who wants to stay all day inside your hotel room? Not us definitely, like I said before it’s a nice hotel with all the amenities you need. Thanks to all the staff for looking out for our safety

Quite liked this place. Great staff and a cool hotel with a bunch of character. Don’t sleep on the breakfast’s upstairs by the pool. Highly walkable location that just happens to be near a lot of the food carts. Best Birria is just around the corner. Would definitely come back and stay again.
