While the resort has many attractive features, several issues significantly detracted from our overall experience. Daytime poolside music was excessively loud, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the otherwise beautiful surroundings. In the evenings, entertainment between the neighboring Secrets and Dreams resorts was poorly coordinated. Because the venues are so close together, overlapping events—such as karaoke at one resort and a DJ at the other—created a noisy, chaotic environment rather than enjoyable nightlife.
Most disappointing was the aggressive promotion of Hyatt membership programs. Staff repeatedly approached us with sales pitches, often disguised as offers for discounts or resort benefits. These interactions felt intrusive and inappropriate for a premium, all-inclusive vacation, especially when they began shortly after arrival. Guests should be able to enjoy their stay without feeling pressured into sales conversations.
Although the resort is visually appealing and well-maintained, the constant noise and persistent sales tactics negatively impacted the sense of relaxation and would make us reconsider returning in the future.
