"Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite which was very nice. The only issue with the room was the lighting. There was only was light in the living room area and one light in the bedroom. Otherwise it was a very nice room. "

"Bought two rooms for me & my friends- when I called they said unfortunately they have no connecting rooms but we were placed side by side. 1st my friends got a noise complaint for music……. It was 10:30pm on a Friday night during St. Patrick’s day weekend….. I thought that was absurd. It’s a weekend if I were other guests I think it’s silly to really expect quiet especially during a holiday. If it was after midnight or 2am. Then ok but it wasn’t. website/ QR code pamphlet stated the resturaunt...

"The Vanderbilt is fabulous! The building is beautiful- the sleeping rooms and the lobby and dining areas. After a day walking down Bellevue Ave, it was great to go to the indoor pool and relax. The gym was clean and had all the necessary equipment. And the staff was welcoming and helpful. It was a great stay!"

The space, design, and attention to detail made it incredibly comfortable, especially traveling with our 1-year-old. Everything felt calm, private, and thoughtfully set up for a family stay. "Room had no decor, scratches on furniture. There is no sound barrier. You can hear everything that is happening in the hallway and rooms next to you. Toilet was dirty and dust on the trim. "

"We had an awesome stay at The Hamilton- Hoppin House. The room was very clean and spacious. Our stay was during some of the coldest weather Newport has seen in years and the room was still nice and warm. The property has a ton of historic charm and still provides a very comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend Hamilton Hoppin House"
