"The property and surrounding area are quaint, lovely setting and very helpful staff. However, the room we stayed in was very tired, full of cobwebs and in need of a good clean and redecoration. With the heatwave going on, it would have been good to have a fridge in the room for cool drinks. There were fans but they just move the hot air about. The breakfast area was small for the number of guests staying in all the rooms. The garden area was nice, theres a pool, hot tub and sauna. However, there...

Had a takeaway from the Thai restaurant - very good Accommodation was very comfortable and hosts very friendly. Breakfast was put out for us to help ourselves in the pottery shop each morning and was a good start to the day with fresh fruit and croissants. Reliable WiFi we were able to watch Wimbledon with no problems. All in all a delightful stay and would definitely stay again."

"The room was was absolutely filthy and falling apart.. My first thought when I went in, was to go out and get some cleaning stuff, a screw driver, no more nails glue and borrow a hoover. The smell in the room I had was terrible, musty, damp. The carpet is like one of those we joke about in a nightclub in the old days, sticky, stained, dirty... I wish I was more confident because I'd have complained. The hotel sent me a message saying check in was 2pm, but when I got there, it was 4pm, so I...

"Parking in front of hotel a bonus, short walk to beach and easy walk to train station. Could do with cleaning the tray that tea &coffee is on, it was filthy. The carpet on the side of the bed needs vacuuming. TV remote control was really dirty. Bathroom sink a bit awkward to use and mold on sealant in bathroom. But overall adequate stay, pretty quiet. You can’t however control other people and them not slamming doors and creaking around. Quite thin small towels. Breakfast was not offered and...
