"I really enjoyed my stay at this location. I booked a suite with two queen beds and a seating/office area. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. My only issue with the room was that the thermostat was programmed to not go below 65 degrees and would go into a "sleeper mode" at night to conserve energy. Being that we were third floor, in June, the room was a little warm and took a while to cool down when we arrived. The breakfast was decent. It consisted of the standard scrambled eggs, sausage patties, fruit, bread assortments, etc. However, the hot coffee was really good and the staff were all very friendly and they kept the eating area very clean. Tides bar and grille (outside by the pool) was a tad disappointing. We ordered three different meals and they were just kind of "ok" for the price. Our drinks were tasty but there wasn't much alcohol in them, which was disappointing since we paid about $14 a drink. However, the pool area was inviting and the service was great. It wasn't bad--it just wasn't great. The pool was surprisingly very shallow. The majority of the pool is between 3-4 feet deep which did not leave a lot of room for swimming. The adults all kind of huddled in the back perimeter because it was deeper. It's great for kids, but not so much for adults. Overall, the location was spectacular. The rooms were nice. The staff was nice. I would stay again."

"We enjoyed the resort feel with the food, bar, pool, hot tub options on the premises. Music pool side added enjoyment while using the pool. Our corner room on the 2nd floor had a great view of the ocean, per our room request during booking. Room, Linens and towels were clean. It was not far to walk to the beach."

"This hotel is a great option for staying on Jekyll Island. The front desk was very helpful is getting a room close to the other couple we were traveling with. Especially when we realized we could have been on completely opposite wings. The hotel provides a great ocean view option which I recommend. You can sit outside your room in the chairs provided and watch the view, sunset/sunrise or visit with your friends or chat with people as they walk by. It is also a fairly short walk along the beach to the town section for shopping or restaurants. A pretty walk at night that felt very safe. Beach access was right there too. We did not use the pools but saw a lot of people did. Several pool options. The hotel offers a large variety of snacks, beverages, including beer and wine, that you can purchase from the front desk. I would definitely stay here again. Good price if you're a little more budget conscience."

"The staff was wonderful! Robert made you feel like family. It was clean and a little outdated but they are under major renovations so next year it will be even better. The coffee was amazing and serve yourself any time of day with a machine that made lattes, cappuccinos, etc. Just a short walk to the beach and the pier village restaurants and shops. Very affordable."
