"I took my elderly mom here for her first time to the beach and we had such a lovely time. Everything was very accessible and easy to traverse for her with her limited mobility and the location was perfect - near an incredible spot on the beach and surrounded by great shops and restaurants. The staff were helpful and attentive to the property and the views from our balcony couldn’t be beat."

"This is the third time I’ve stayed in this hotel. The first time was perfect. The last two times they were issues my second time it was extremely noisy, banging on walls all night and people standing and talking in front of my door. This time I was putting in a room where the air conditioning could not be adjusted. It can only be set to 64°, which was extremely cold. Each day I am told a manager reach out to me, but they never do forgiven false promises of a discounted rate."

"Good location with easy access over the causeway to Treasure Island and Madeira Beach. Top floor has a bit of a musty smell but Hotel is 110 years old. Wish we had seen some ghosts. Rooms are huge with comfortable bed and good size bathroom. Cold AC just a bit noisy. Breakfast was the best we have had by far at this price point. Good choice for this area."

"They really did not have a breakfast. Hard boiled eggs, cold cereal, And waffles really dont do it for me. If you are going to say you serve breakfast you got to do better than that. What you have is self-serve for an adolescent."

"We stayed in a room over looking the dumpster, both the bathroom and room ceiling had pealing paint due to damp! The air conditioning sounded like a wind tunnel constantly noisy!!! I made reception aware and advised the lady at check out but she simply wrote a note but didn’t even acknowledge what I had said! I was charged $30 a day as a ‘Resort’ apparently for self parking, WIFI and the pool? Really??? I will not be back!!!!!"

"Stayed here two nights for work. Appreciate the good breakfast and the clean room. Location was convenient to restaurants. Will definitely stay here again."

"This place was great! Really enjoyed rumfish overall but definitely need to come back. The kids night out was perfect for date night with my wife kid free Resort pools were always clean and areas around them well maintained. The beach area was breathtaking and included the loungers with our stay. Lots of activities for the kids we were never bored. There were some hidden fees we were surprised with when we checked out. But it wasn’t much so we overall enjoyed ourselves."

"The property is across the street from the beach and on the rooftop you can see a great sunset over the water. The hotel has 2 bars that serve food, as well as providing entertainment. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable. The only thing negative were the servers at the rooftop bar. They were slow and didn't check on us at all. The bartender was great."

"We had an amazing experience staying at the grand at the island grand at tradewinds. From our check in and welcome to the checkout and everything in between was wonderful. Staff was helpful and friendly and went above and beyond. The room and the grounds were clean and well maintained. There are tons of food options and activities on the property as well as a beautiful beach. We are looking forward to come back soon."

"Breakfast was your typical breakfast but some items such as pastries where dry. Room was decent but if planning for a longer stay not ideal. The staff was decent but no one stood out. Called for extra towels and toilet paper but took almost 30 minutes to receive. Overall very typical hotel with nothing wowing"
