"We stayed at the Parc hotel for a week and it was great. A bit pricey, sure, but the most affordable one we could find anywhere in nyc that was clean and safe. The room was smaller than a “regular” hotel room, but it was very comfortable, clean and recently renovated. Wouldn’t spend all day in it, but comfortable enough for two people. Everyday we would come home to a made bed and a clean room.
Flushing itself is busy and crowded, and a little dirty, especially on weekends. The hotel sits right in a crowded corner, but the hotel itself is secure and clean. (If you get a room with windows facing the corner it even makes for very entertaining people watching haha). Right across the street is a shopping center with a target and lots of food options. Also the food in flushing is AMAZING. It’s also right off the 7 train so it’s very easy to get anywhere. It is also walking distance to queens garden, Citi field, and the botanical gardens.
The hotel had a nice looking gym although I didn’t have a chance to use it, and breakfast every morning. Basic stuff like bagels fruit coffee cereal and waffle maker. They also had pork buns every morning which were my favorite. Also had a very cute rooftop bar right in the hotel!
Overall, definitely the right decision for a affordable (at least for nyc), clean and safe hotel. Would definitely stay again."
