"The room was comfortable and clean. However, the pool was temporarily closed. It should have been noted on the main booking page. I chose this hotel for the pool and free breakfast. My second complaint was that on the initial booking, it stated “breakfast included”, but when we arrived, we were told that it’s not part of the hotel price, and that we had to go next door to a different establishment and order from that menu. I know when I booked, it had said “breakfast included. This was not updated until this morning. I planned to eat breakfast there and had to go elsewhere last minute. That was not ok. This trip cost an extra $60 because the pool wasn’t open and we had to make extra accommodations and breakfast was not included, as had been advertised. I’ve stayed at other IHG’s and the breakfast was included. The receptionist was pleasant, however, I felt she took these changes lightly. We were on a sports schedule and couldn’t have a proper meal and she just laughed and pointed next door. It was a similar reaction to the pool being closed. It needs to be changed on the website or a email goes out. I would’ve chosen a different hotel, had I known the pool was drained and there wasn’t a breakfast included in the price. These changes affect families, their schedules , and overall cost. "

"The hotel was clean and comfortable, however there is a serious issue with noise from other rooms and the hallway. We could hear the people in our neighboring room having full conversations and could hear their TV perfectly, as if we were in the same room.. it was terrible. They were talking at a normal volume and we could hear every word. This lasted until 1am when we had to call the desk to complain.. plus whenever anybody left their room, the room doors would slam really loudly when they closed and our walls would shake. Very very bad noise problem here and I wouldn't stay here again because of it."

"Stayed here for a weekend in April so we could explore Salem. The hotel is located 5 from downtown and located across the street from a Dunkin and Convenience Store. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and there are fire pits on the grounds. "

"Had higher expectations. Loud unpredictable and badly chosen location of a/c - heater device. Could easily hear tv in next door room all night long. Re-design of room needed. Good parking nice onsite restaurant. "
