"The hotelier at reception placed us in a really stunning 2 bedroom apartment. It was up on the top floor, completely exposed to the sparkling waters of the beach directly across the road. The front of the apartment had large bi-fold doors which opened completely out to the roomy sunny balcony. We could see the Waitangi grounds while sitting relaxing with a glass of bubbly. "The apartment itself met our needs and it was amazing being right across the road from the beach. Great kitchen facilities and lovely warm space. However, being on the bottom floor apartment means you can hear all upstairs and driveway noise which happened to be a lot during our stay and the parking is pretty tight outside the front apartments."
