"I always stay where I visiting family in a neighboring city. It's in downtown Valdosta. Super quaint and convenient. The restoration is really nice. I like the antiquetious feel. You should give it a try. I do warn you that the property sits on a major highway. But it's a highway thru a small-town-downtown square."

"This hotel was a good price for our trip to Wild Adventures and just one exit down from the park. The room and bathroom were clean and the bedding was clean too. We stayed in a first floor double bed. The breakfast which was described as continental was actually what the hotel described as a grab and go…muffins, coffee, yogurts, orange juice and oatmeal. Would have liked some cereal for the kids and maybe some bagels or toast but for our two night stay it was adequate. There is a Waffle...

"This place was dated and we had a red stain on the carpet. Bathroom was dirty. Pee on the toilet (under seat) upon arrival. We will gladly pay more to stay somewhere else. I guess the Hiltons don't care...clearly."

"When we entered the room, it smelled of rotten food. The cleaning person forgot to clean the fridge out. The rooms need renovations. It had a smell to it. I will stay somewhere else with more up to date amenities. The staff was wonderful. The sad part, it's a group that comes every year. I hopefully can convince them to find better."

"Positive: The beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good. The game room was a nice surprise for our kids. The kids loved the pool. Most of the employees were very pleasant. I didn’t hear any street or neighbor noises inside our room. Negative: The air didn’t cool well and wasn’t turned down before we arrived. The hair dryer didn’t work. Expedia didn’t notate that the hotel required a $100 deposit, but they did after arrival. Overall, we were pleased with our stay."

"Not a good place to stay for the money. There's a Days Inn and Super 8 in the vicinity. Try them instead. Roaches and the shower head needs some Clorox spray."
