"I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was disappointing enough that I feel others should know what to expect. When I checked into my first room, it had a strong unpleasant odor and there was a dead bug inside. I returned to the front desk and requested another room. While I appreciated being moved, the second room wasn’t much better. The bed had visible blood stains on the sheets, which was completely unacceptable. Rather than waiting for housekeeping, I ended up changing the sheets...

"We really liked the charming Dagny hotel. Excellent restaurant and coffee house! Best flatbread anywhere!! Staff were very helpful and genuine plus our room was just right for us. Location is excellent and walkable to many key destinations like the wharf, Boston Tea Party, Fanueil Hall and more. Would definitely stay here again. Bed was good but a newer mattress would’ve been nice. I still slept fine!"

"Room was incredibly dated, especially the bathroom. Rug was frayed and there was an old school corded phone next to the toilet. Not what I expected from a “luxury” hotel. Soap, shampoo and conditioner were in tacky plastic white containers that had visible residue where they get filled. Bed was really comfy and staff was helpful, but the room needs some refreshing."

"Beautiful property with lovely restaurant but rooms are small/tight compared to other luxury hotels. AC system was loud and inefficient. Reminded me of old Marriotts from 1990’s. Butler is a nice concept but slow responses $10 coffee was good but….seems a bit much. Good location. Overall there’s other nice hotels we’ve enjoyed that are superior to this hotel and less expensive"
