Absolutely loved this place. Had beautiful grounds to go and sit in peace after a long day of walking around the waterfalls. Clean, cozy rooms, nice breakfast and a lovely family who own and manage the property themselves.

The stay here was amazing, so close to plitvice lakes, Very very clean, modern accommodation, the restaurant food was absolutely delicious and very good value for money, The staff were super friendly and super helpful, I really did not want to leave.

Excellent stay. Friendly welcoming team . Would highly recommend 👌

I would highly recommend this hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. It is extremely clean, the staff are all very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are large and the beds very comfortable. The pool is great, especially on a hot day. The bar by the pool and poolside service is perfect and the restaurant serves generous portions. It is a 10-15 minute drive from Plitvice National Park. I can sum it up by saying it is amazing!

A fantastic place to stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful in suggesting how to tackle Plitvice Lakes in the time we had to maximise our visit. We were offered a home cooked evening meal for €20 for 2 courses. It was delicious and well worth considering if you stay here, just note you need to pay in cash for the meal. We hope to be coming back here at a different time of year to experience the incredible lakes and will definitely be staying here.

Beautiful place to stay near Plitvic lakes. Spacious room with balcony with stunning views. Very comfortable and good breakfast.

Great stay at this hotel. Had all we needed for our a stay near to the Plitvice Lakes. We really enjoyed the food in the restaurant in the evening with a great menu. The €6 buffet breakfast was possibly the best value breakfast we’ve had in a long time. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which worked well for us as we were 2 couple. Would recommend.

We stayed as a family of 4 from the UK. This was a superb campsite with excellent mobile home facilities. Our home was clean and modern and the campsite was quiet and well maintained. The food at in restaurant and pool bar was excellent and we had a 20% discount as we’d booked via Expedia. Breakfast was a little disappointing as they served one option but there was an al la carte option that could be paid for. I liked their fresh bakery service where you can pay and pick up fresh backed goods in...

Filomena was the perfect place to stay when visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park. Ideally located within easy walking distance of the park entrance, it combines convenience with a wonderfully peaceful setting. The room was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and finished to a very high standard. The on-site restaurant was excellent, serving great food in a relaxed atmosphere. The entire property offers a quiet retreat, with friendly, professional staff who made our stay effortless and...

We had a lovely stay at House Karakas. The host was very welcoming :-) The room appeared recently renovated with a really good finish. It was clean and welcoming. The house was a great location for Plitvice National Park about a 20 minute drive away. I wouldn't hesitate on recommending House Karakas...thank you Lydia for a lovely welcome and stay.

We came here in order to visit Plitvice and chose it because of its high TA rating and the offer of free bike hire to TA members. It deserves all of its rave ratings and is a lovely oasis. Beautifully clean, spacious rooms, lovely swimming pool with beach towels awaiting you on your sunbed and a choice of cafe bistro plum in the hotel or the Restoran Degenija across the road. Both serve great food but for Croatian cuisine I'd recommend the Restoran Degenija. It's run independently so you can't...

Lovely people, very nice room. Excellent cooking facilities shared with other guests, though we had it to ourselves when we stayed - the other guests ate out. Note that you need a car (or possibly use taxis) to get to Plitvice.

Ideal location to explore the lakes, entering via entrance 3 and avoiding big queues at entrance 1 & 2.
