Such a terrific B&B to stay in while we spent a few days in Rapid City, SD. The accommodation was perfect for us! The hosts were delightful & their breakfasts were delicious. We could easily come & go as we pleased. We communicated breakfast time via text which worked well. We highly recommend this B&B for your stay! Thanks Emeral Hills!

One of the best B&B
Our experience at Shari and Lee's Bed and Breakfast was truly exceptional. From the moment we stepped foot inside, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The house itself was a hidden gem, perched on a picturesque hilltop with stunning views. Shari prepared mouthwatering breakfasts each morning, while Lee delighted us with his captivating travel stories (be sure to ask him about selling the booze on the ship!). We didn't want to leave the house at all; it felt like a cherished home away from home. We wholeheartedly recommend this enchanting B&B for an unforgettable and rejuvenating escape.

Besides the amazing location, close to all places to visit around Rapid City SD, the owners will make you feel like staying in your dream home away of home. Very welcoming, super tasty breakfasts, great conversations! Not mentioning the sunset view or watching the stars from the patio or the balcony. That is the place to stay in Rapid City if you are lucky enough to find vacancy!

Our stay at Emerald Hills was wonderful. We used the B&B as a base for sightseeing in the Black Hills and surrounding areas. Our room was large, our bathroom was large, our private living area was large and the common living area was large and well appointed. Shari and Lee were wonderful hosts and Shari's breakfasts were excellent! Short drive to many restaurants and stores. Loved our stay and will recommend to our friends and neighbors.

Beautiful facility! The owners were so friendly and wonderful to work with. Breakfast was amazing woth a gorgeous view of the hills! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

A beautiful setting and host couple were friendly and available. Excellent breakfast. Didn't care for the steps outside to get to the room, however, the host offered to carry our bags.

Have to agree with you that steps are an inconvenience and we miss out with guests who use wheelchairs and walkers. When we were "B&B hunting" we could not find a suitable ranch-style home but we were so amazed by the views, we couldn't walk away LOL :) .

This was a most excellent B&B! Sheri and Lee were wonderful, charming, friendly, hosts! The room was comfortable. The bed was VERY comfortable! The property was clean. It was very quiet and private. And what a view!!! Most of our B&B experiences involve muffins or granola bars for the breakfast part. This breakfast was homemade each morning! We had our choice of dining on the deck with the outstanding view, or inside at their breakfast nook if it was too chilly. I wouldn't think about staying anywhere else on our next trip to the area. This place was awesome! Thank you Sheri and Lee for a trip for the memories.

From Badlands to Wind Cave!
This was a great place to stay. The host Lee and Shari make you feel like family. The bedroom and sitting area were very quiet and cozy with plenty of room to stretch out in. It was lovely to have such a great breakfast prepared for us every morning. It is a good location to many of the parks. We would recommend Emerald Hills, and would gladly return anytime we are in that town again!

The Great National Parks Adventure
We stayed 3 nights and this place was wonderful. Both Lee and Sherri were great hosts. The room was well made up and very comfortable. We slept better there than anyplace else on our 22 day vacation. The breakfast was well thought out and delicious to say the least.

The property was clean, quiet, and a great view. Deer in the backyard in the morning, birds singing in the bushes, no traffic sounds, no unquiet neighbors!!. Accommodations were first rate as was the owner of the business. Well thought out, well executed. Made our trip to Rapid City that much better!!!

This was my first time staying in a B&B. If I could count on that all B&Bs were like this one I would say bye bye to hotels and just stay in B&Bs. Shari and Lee were excellent host. They were very knowledgeable about the area and gave excellent advice of what see and how to get around. My wife and I were there for 3 nights. Chef Shari made an excellent breakfast with the help of sous-chef Lee ( inside joke ) 😂. My wife and I highly recommend staying here if you ever go to Rapid City SD.

From the moment we parked the car we knew we had picked the right place to stay for our first visit in Rapid City. We were kindly greeted by the owners and shown around the beautiful and CLEAN property. (The owners are taking every precaution from CDC guidelines for COVID.) They completely customized our needs with mealtime and offered valuable suggestions for us to get the most out of our day trips (each suggestion turned out true!!!) The property is very quiet and that, plus the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in while traveling, led to amazing sleep. Then, there is breakfast... every morning we ate our fill of delicious home cooking tailored to whatever we wanted. We got a belly full which ended up being such a great way to start the day and I time saver while traveling (not having to look for a restaurant/ stop somewhere to eat breakfast). Plus you eat breakfast viewing a sweeping landscape of the black hills forest in the distance. This was truly one of the most enjoyable places I have stayed as a traveler. I hope I can come back to Rapid City some time and stay again. THANK YOU EMERALD HILLS!!!

This is one of the finest B&B's my wife and I have ever stayed in! The owners, Shari and Lee, were wonderful people, attentive to all our needs. Their home was truly remarkable. The views were stunning, and the location was great for all state/national parks and monuments. Everything was just so clean and perfect. Shari's breakfasts were delicious and fun and informative. I would go back in a heartbeat, and we highly recommend a stay here!

A great experience! Really. Only 2 very comfortable units and ours was well appointed and decorated. Close to Rapid City yet in a beautiful country setting...quiet and peaceful. Full big breakfast cooked perfectly. The best part was the owners who are available, courteous and very friendly....Shari and Lee, perhaps the best operators we have encountered in all our travels.

Super Vacation!
This B&B was so delightful...comfortable and relaxing. Perfect location in Rapid City to see all that southern South Dakota has to offer. We stayed 6 days and could have stayed 6 more to tour the area … there is so much to see. Sherry and Lee were so friendly and helpful, and breakfasts were delicious! I would highly recommend Emerald Hills to friends and family; I hope we have a chance to go there again.

Fantastic B&B!!!
This is a world class B&B!!! Shari and Lee are a wonderful couple who make you feel like family. It's in a convenient location, with great views. There are only two rooms but they are very large and private. When you're here, you feel like you're a million miles away from everything, but within 2 minutes drive you're on a main road, ready to travel all over the beautiful Black Hills. Shari's breakfasts were absolutely amazing! We can't compliment Shari enough on her cooking! We look forward to staying here again next year when we return to Rapid City.

Emerald Hills...a home away from home
We had a memorable visit in this beautiful, luxurious b&b. Shari and Lee have made the suites feel like home at its best...great beds and linens, coffee , snacks, and a roomy living area. We watched a bunny play on the manicured lawn. Breakfast was homemade and yummy, with careful attention to special needs and requests. We highly reccomend Emerald Hills as an excellent jumping off point for South Dakota explorations.
