Maximum walk time (to St. Stephan's Cathedral - furthest sightseeing fron the hotel) is around 30 minutes. The hotel staff are friendly and very efficient (everyone speaks English). We found the decor to be a little cold (maybe our taste), but it is clean and overall we had an enjoyable stay. "

"Hotel Josefshof am Rathaus exceeded my expectations.  The cleaning staff visited everyday.  Unlike some hotels, they occasionally varied the breakfast buffet and accommodated my lactose intolerance by providing lactose-free yogurt and lactose-free lattes.  Unlike some hotels, they did have lots of staff.  It’s in a very cozy spot but it did take me a while to find.  When you walk along Auerspergstraße, turn left when you see the SENFT building and right beside it is the hotel.  I might forgo the...

"We were in Europe for three weeks and Das Tyrol was our favorite hotel. Located across from museums and public transportation. Very quiet with great beds. If you are into boutique hotels it doesn’t get much better than Das Tyrol. "
