"Even though they are under construction, the rooms are very clean and the lady at the front desk was very friendly. Highly recommended."

"Was a good stopping point for our trip from Michigan to Colorado. There are a few dining choices to the north of the hotel. We discovered the Pizza Ranch which is about 1 mile to the north. The morning breakfast is always a plus."

"Overall, not bad for the price. But, the carpet in the handicapped accessible room was in horrible shape and we had to make sure we kept socks or flip flops on when walking on the horrible ancient carpet. I do think they were getting ready to replace it with wood lament."

"This facility received low ratings for the following reasons: Our room wasn't cleaned when we checked-in (9pm), despite housekeeping saying it was. We were moved to another room, but had to go request bath towels because we had none. Bottom of stairwell reeked of cigarette smoke (as did a front desk staff). Room was nice. Bathroom could use a serious update (mold spot on ceiling from water damage). "Hot" tub was very cloudy & not at all hot. Room showers did not provide very hot water...

"First thing noticed upon entering the room was the bathroom toilet. It was obvious that the "moving" ... loose stool had been stabilized ... attempted to ... by use of chalking. CAN NOT BE DONE. The stool not only moved up and down left to right, it also had noticeable movement front to back. I let the front desk know upon receiving a text from the hotel as to my "satisfaction" which I replied to on Saturday. I also stated the hours I would be out celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary thus...

"The room was clean as was the hotel. The breakfast had no eggs or anything that a gluten free person would eat. It was the breakfast with the fewest options over all."

"They admitted they were new at running a hotel. Room could not get cool, no shade to block sunlight, NO remote for the postage size TV, bathroom exhaust was extremely loud. Once they brought the TV remote only 1 local channel was available and even lost signal to that..I checked out did not stay. They offered to move me to another room with a newer TV..why wasn't I given that to begin with?????"

"This hotel is a good value for the price and style but could use some updates. The lobby and common areas seemed well-maintained, and the staff was super friendly and helpful! The cookies and bottled water were a nice touch at check-in, and it was nice to have hot coffee available at all times. Breakfast was decent but I did notice the pool was closed. The room had a nice new mattress/linens and was cleaned, but unfortunately it just seemed kind of dingy due to its age and maintenance level. ...

I expect quirky/unique properties to have a few glitches, but this property had too many for the price tag. Here’s where this hotel scores low: -no restaurant on site, contrary to the Expedia listing. -no hot water in shower and “rain shower head” clogged.
