"Our room was nice & overall, we enjoyed our stay; however, I will never stay here again UNLESS I was given a room on the top floor. I think it was a combination of 1.) having VERY loud, unaware people staying above us & 2.) a structural issue. The family above us walked very heavy (it sounded like they were purposefully stomping around sometimes, slamming doors, opening & closing the balcony door, etc. Even when they seemed to be a little more quiet (like at night), the floorboards were really squeaky, so we could hear every step they took as they walked across their room. It was kinda miserable...They stayed up until midnight & were awake by 7:30 all 4 days we were there, so my family didn't get much sleep. We asked the office to move us to another room three time (& also asked for a refund because we wanted to find another hotel), but they refused. We slept with a noise machine & AirPods the last couple nights. Again, the room was great, the amenities were great, everything about the place was great...but if we ever go back, I will request the top floor (& we will be mindful of the people below us!!) BTW, Expedia was AWESOME about the whole thing. Once I explained the situation, they were ready to help us find another room & even called the office manager to work on getting a refund for us (which again, Still Waters refused). Even though this was in no way Expedia's fault, they gave us a credit to use toward a future trip. THANK YOU EXPEDIA!!!!"
