"Just a very low-end standard room… nothing fancy! My room felt like a box: just basics, no decor… everything was cheap (towels and sheets are low quality stuff)! It was just an overnight trip for me. I could have complained about the 2 hairs in the tub but I ALWAYS sanitize everything… I just sprayed the whole thing down and later rinsed it out! I always wear shower shoes… will I stay there again? NO"

"The room was a decent size; however, the online ad stated it could fit 5 people—which was not true. Aside from the outdoor entrance to our room coming as a surprise, the “breakfast” amenity of our stay only included self made waffles, toast, bagels & dry cereal. Limited drink options as the OJ was down. Lack of milk for cereal. Overall an okay stay, but would not stay again. Would rather pay a bit more for a much nicer experience elsewhere."

"Do not stay at WoodSpring Suites San Antonio North Live Oak I-35. This is a biohazard masquerading as a hotel. My fiancé and I stayed in Room 207, and it was a nightmare. The room is infested; I was woken up by a cockroach crawling across my forehead. The bathroom was disgusting—the tub was covered in mold, grime, and peeling paint. It wasn't even white anymore. The floors were so filthy we were afraid to walk barefoot. The room also reeked of pet odors and was covered in animal hair, showing zero disinfection between guests. The bed was the worst part. The mattress is ancient and skeletal; I could squeeze it flat with one hand. We woke up in physical pain every day. On our last day, we stripped the bed and found huge brown stains and what was clearly dried blood on the mattress. No wonder we were itching all night. To top it off, the fridge made a mechanical screeching noise that made sleep impossible. This property is a legitimate health risk and needs to be shut down by inspectors. Save your money, your health, and your sanity—stay anywhere else."

"Check in was fine, receptionist was friendly. I booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. Both rooms smelled very bad and the carpeting was soaking wet. We left our luggage in the rooms and went out to visit family in the area and when we returned, the one way road to the the hotel was closed for overnight construction work. There was no way to get back to hotel. I called hotel to get instructions on a back way to get to hotel, which involved cutting through parking lots and driving wrong way on a one- way road for a short bit. Finally made it to the hotel only to find room even more smelly. The smell was a bit overwhelming. I expressed my concern at the office and was told I had to talk to the manager the next day. I gave up and dealt with smelly room for the rest of the stay. The carpet finally did dry by the 3rd day. Also, there was no cleaning/maid service. No clean towels or bed making the entire 3 days."
