"I think the room was moderately clean, but it kind of smelled like sweaty feet (maybe it wasn't mopped properly because there were no carpets which is good, but if not cleaned thoroughly, is not). The TV volume could not go up loud enough to hear it over the AC unit that sounded like an ice machine. The bathroom door could hardly close, and would then stick while opening. "Due to the Hawk fire, we (also Expedia whom we booked thru tried to contact them on our behalf) called early morning on check in day to find out if we, under the circumstances, were able to cancel without penalty. No response and we decided to go despite the fire was zero contained. We finally got a call back after we have already checked in around 8 pm. Why bother responding???"

"Upon walking in to check-in the front desk staff (Nicole and Kai) let us know they were having a terrible day and proceeded to make it clear that checking us in was a hassle for them. Later we wanted to take the hotel shuttle to a restaurant. It had never been mentioned that the shuttle was expressly for airport pick-ups. The shuttle was ONLY available if there were no airport pick-ups, and there was a fee charged for any service other than the airport pick-ups. Again, it was a clear burden...
