Fantastic stay, would stay again!

We had an excellent stay for 5 nights at Batis Beach Hotel. Our room had two balconies, and one had a partial view of the beach. The hotel is directly across the street from the beach and it's located close to many restaurants and shops. We only ate breakfast at the hotel once, but it was great. Fresh cooked eggs with yogurt, fruit, and breads. The room itself was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were always very friendly and helpful with answering all of our questions! The only thing to note is that there is no parking lot, only street parking. We had no issues finding parking spots close to the hotel, though. I imagine it might be more difficult in the summer/busy season.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The property is in a lovely location across from the beach and the use of beach chairs is a real bonus. Lots of restaurant options in the area.

Modern, spacious rooms with a nice balcony (i had the side view which was nice and calm). An actual down duvet. Air condition works well. The only thing i messed was a bjgger fridge. The staff are super friendly - both at the reception and the people cleaning. Location is nice. A little walk to the old town, but then you get a more calm part of the beach. Restaurants and shops right outside the door.

Batis hotel is conveniently located on front line to the Rethymno beach. Hotel is located about 20 min walk from the old town of Rethymno. Rooms were modern, spacious and clean, however housekeeping doesn't work on Sundays. Air-condition is in every room. Dina - receptionist was very friendly and helpful, she replied all our questions. Hotel suggested us an upgrade of room and Dina insured that we changed rooms smoothly. Thanks alot for the hotel team for making our stay very pleasant and we hope to come back next year.

I really enjoyed my week-long stay at Batis Beach Hotel. On arrival I was greeted by the friendliest and most helpful receptionist, Dina. She offered excellent recommendations of where to dine in the evenings and showed genuine warmth and kindness throughout my stay. All the other hotel, kitchen and housekeeping staff were equally helpful and friendly. My room was impeccable, modern and comfortable. The location was perfect with a quiet part of the beach directly across the road, proximity to lots of great restaurants and easy walking distance to the Old Town and port. The breakfast was excellent too - the portions were generous and the food fresh and delicious. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Wij hadden een kamer met zij zeezicht. De kamer was ruim en erg netjes. Elke dag werd de kamer schoongemaakt en kon je ervoor kiezen om je handdoeken te wisselen. Super vriendelijk personeel van de receptie tot aan de dames van de huishouding. Het ontbijt werd geserveerd op het dakterras met een uitzicht over zee.

Over all this place is a fantastic location! The people and service were great. The only feedback I can give is a slightly better explanation of the new electronic systems and cleaning schedule would be appreciated.

On arrival we were given a side view sea room in place of the sea view room we paid for. The reason was due to occupants extending their stay due to ill health ?Although we were offered breakfast to compensate and moved 3 days later it was very disappointing after just arriving in Crete. Apart from that we had a great stay.

5 stars, full stop. I stayed at this property for almost 3 weeks and made 7 new bookings, which speaks for itself. I've been coming to Greece for 35 years, so I def. know my way around. This is an EXCELLENT property. I HIGHLY recommend it. Unbeatable value. I've stayed in many properties across the island, including in 4* & 5* hotels. This is my favorite property. Lots of reasons why. The property features modern hotel-style suites & apartment-style rooms that have a kitchen (sink/cutlery, stove, oven, BIG fridge). Both types of room are spacious, VERY clean, a 10-minute walk from the old town, 50 meters from the beach, parking is NO PROBLEM (def. a problem in Reth.), and it's right next to multiple supermarkets and plenty of good restaurants. Very quiet: rooms are soundproofed. You can always hear the waves from the room terraces, which is soothing & dreamy. Comfy, spacious terraces. The property is family-run, which makes a big difference in the quality of stay. Management takes personal accountability for every guest's stay like an individual, not a 'number.' 5 stars, full stop. I stayed at this property for almost 3 weeks and made 7 new bookings, which speaks for itself. I've been coming to Greece for 35 years, so I def. know my way around. This is an EXCELLENT property. I HIGHLY recommend it. Unbeatable value. I've stayed in many properties across the island, including in 4* & 5* hotels. This is my favorite property. Lots of reasons why. The property features modern hotel-style suites & apartment-style rooms that have a kitchen (sink/cutlery, stove, oven, BIG fridge). Both types of room are spacious, VERY clean, a 10-minute walk from the old town, 50 meters from the beach, parking is NO PROBLEM (def. a problem in Reth.), and it's right next to multiple supermarkets and plenty of good restaurants. Very quiet: rooms are soundproofed. You can always hear the waves from the room terraces, which is soothing & dreamy. Comfy, spacious terraces. The property is family-run, which makes a big difference in the quality of stay. Management takes personal accountability for every guest's stay like an individual, not a 'number.'
