For reference, I stayed in February 2026.I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff were, without exaggeration, the most hospitable I’ve encountered in all of my travels. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. Every interaction was warm, helpful, and sincere — they truly go above and beyond for their guests.
The location and the room itself was quiet, which was such a relief. I had read several reviews mentioning noise concerns in Reykjavik, but that was absolutely not my experience here. I slept very well. The bed was comfortable, and the comforter was incredibly warm.
If I had to note a couple minor improvements: a mini fridge in the room would be a great addition, and I do think it’s important for travelers to know that rooms currently do not have one. The TV channel selection was also quite limited, with only a handful of stations and very repetitive programming.
That said, these are small points compared to the overall experience. The hospitality alone would bring me back without hesitation.
