"I have to admit I was not happy with my room. It was dated, with a non-working shower and full of insects, especially after it went dark.
However, I cannot but admit that the people managing the property (a family of four plus staff) went out of their way to make this a memorable stay. They were incredibly hospitable and their engaging personalities ended up making this a memorable experience; one that would make me consider returning in the future; albeit in a different room...

"Perfectly situated less than 100m from one of the busy squares in the Old Town, but completely unaffected by any noise from the numerous cafes and bars around. The Spot Hotel is basic, with nothing other than the small-ish rooms and courtyard area. Completely fine. I stayed for 7 days and there was housekeeping once. Again, perfectly acceptable. "Beautiful hotel and location. Ideal as a public bus stop and taxi rank just down from it and bside the beach. Great restaurant options though my dad felt the menu itself was very minimal, I disagree. There also plenty of food options around the hotel area. Staff were amazing, rooms were clean, bar was well stocked though some drinks were pricey. It was €10 for a Hennessey, however the local brandy was just €7 so if you don't like the price, they have other options. The only thing I didn't like...

1. We reported the cupboard door to our fridge being broken. They came to repair it but it fell off again the next day.
