"Headliner is, worth the money adding you get what you pay for. Friendly staff, clean, worth the price. Flip side : definitely dated, grounds were a bit in disrepair, on the bed had a sheet heavier sheet and no blanket? bed and pillows were a bit stiff, van was in bad need of shocks and was concerned on the way back, if it was full and would we have to wait another 45 minutes to go back?
Overall, B- and would stay there again."
"Lovely newish hotel. Nice coastal decor, clean, restaurant and place to pick up snacks. There a nice room with a fireplace to gather, a larger room with a TV and seating and a pool is being built for future use. Convenient to several breweries -Tap Root is a 4 min. drive. 10 min to Newport downtown. Grocery store, Walgreens and a few quick bite options all within a few minutes."
"Except for the hallway, the room was very quiet. They were busy and many kids were in town, but unless the kids were running loudly past the door, we only heard them for the moment they passed by. All the noise was gone after 8pm. The room was clean and updated. It’s a short distance to the heart of Newport. We will stay here again. We are bimonthly visitors to the island, and have stayed in quite a few different hotels on Aquidneck Island. This is now one of our top two favorite combinations of “best stay for your dollar”. "
"Hotel was nice, check-in counter staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable and the restaurant was amazing.
Did not appreciate housekeeping repeatedly knocking on the door despite having the privacy hanger on the door. I was alone in my room trying to use the jetted tub so I could not answer, and the constant knocking was frustrating. They came back again shortly after my husband returned to the room where we found out they just wanted to bring more towels. We didn't ask for towels, we only had a 2 night stay and there was already plenty of towels in the room. A bit frustrating so I had to dock a star."
"Our stay surpassed all expectations. Check in was wonderful, the receptionist was very friendly and super-efficient for being almost 800pm at night!
The spa was amazing; Lily and Melanie were great. Maybe wish the area was a little bit bigger but no real complaints. Maria was great to work with scheduling our appts.
Loved out we were able to be so close to downtown Newport and Thames street without having to stay right in the middle of all of it! The beach views were absolutely incredible. "
