Staff were very nice and helpful. Renovations were being done to the building our room was in, so there were a few issues: no working ice machine, little things missing like the hook on bathroom door, room had an industrial smell when we first checked in (we bought an air freshener to get rid of it), the ceiling over the bathtub started leaking the second night, the grout hadn't been wiped off between the bathtub wall tile.

It was a nice vacation I enjoy the pool my only complaint was there was working on the computer systems for the doors and I got locked out my room once other than that it was an awesome trip

You cant beat the price of a stay at this hotel. It is conveniently located. The room had all the basics, and the staff were friendly. We requested extra towels and were quickly accommodated. The shower had plenty of hot water, and the room temperature was good. I've stayed at much more expensive hotels and could not say the same about some of them. If you are on a budget, this is definitely the place to stay.

Check in was good. The room was not clean. Floor was sticky. Refrigerator was disgusting. I was afraid to walk barefoot on the bathroom floor. The table legs were about to fall off. The one thing good about the room we had is the bed was quite comfortable.

Area by the ice machine and vending smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, (possibly from the employee room next to the ice machine.) The vending machine was empty. The swimming pool had a family of ducks living in it. The location was convenient. The website doesn't match the policies posted by the registration desk.

I would give zero stars except the housekeeping staff treated me well. This is the dirtiest nastiest flagged hotel I have ever stayed in. Stained tub, broken faucet, cockroaches. Carpet practically had a chalk outline of a corpse; well if it was clean enough to be seen! Still though, the staff were kind to me and my dog.

Room was in disrepair. Could not close the glass door leading to the barren balcony. Some furniture broken , burn marks. Gave a coffee pot with no cups or coffee. Glass door to balcony was filthy. Cobwebs on ceiling. Blow dryer not functioning and the plastic was burned. Beds were clean and very comfortable, only saving grace. Oh and the waffle batter for breakfast was watered down, toaster did not work and coffee dispenser was erratic. Bathroom and sink were also cracked and in need of fixing.

You get what you pay for. The location is good.

I have been a weekly/wknd guest. Bc i live 3 hours away and work in Richmond.. this is the cheapest snd closet to my job. Overall the day desk staff is good. Clean crew ony come every other day uness requested. Do not know what the intial $50 charge is for ... seperat from paymemt of stay. Now the rooms. You may or most likely may NOT get toiletries, towles, etc. A microwave, hit or miss with remote refrigerators will not be too cold snd toilet sears come iff and breakfast. Toast and coffee. Trash in front of entryway of door. Pools of water in walk ways, people... welll.some are probly therw on vouchers or live there . They put ricks to hold door open if you do not have a key for the entryway. Depeneding where you are smells like marijuana. Vending machine are always empty and dont look for the phone to call desk. You go to the desk .just a mess all around. But dont look for compensation or for being inconveinenced.

The property was average, it was clean and located conveniently off of 95. The tub in the room was unusable and frankly unsafe. Whatever coating was applied to the surface of the tub had almost entirely peeled off, the flakes of the coating were still peeling and the surface was extremely slippery. We didn't shower because of this situation. Also, I unfortunately left an article of clothing on the back of the bathroom door, I called and spoke to the front desk personnel at this hotel three times to see if housekeeping had found it but they never called me back. The one time I called the man said he would check with housekeeping and call me back and tried to hang up and then I said "don't you need my phone number?" and he replied "oh, yes, what is it?" I don't believe any of these people ever intended to help me. Very poor customer service! Even if the clothing was not found, I would expect a return call to tell me that. I would not stay here again, nor recommend this hotel to anyone.
