"The communication with staff on my day of arrival went well; unfortunately, highway traffic delayed my arrival time but the innkeeper was pleasant and let me know how to access my room after-hours. The location of the inn is ideal for restaurants, a quaint downtown scene, and to nearby Augusta. I felt safe walking around the inn and the neighborhood in the early hours/late afternoon as a solo female traveler. The property has beautiful landscaping and the fellow guests were a delight to talk to at the morning breakfast. The dining room was well attended by staff. The setup of this inn is simple and doesn't require a hike to the parking lot, which is ideal if you have a lot of luggage. I'd recommend this inn to anyone staying in the area for a night or two. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, and the shower had great water pressure. Basic toiletries like shampoo/soap/makeup remover were provided. "
