Grand Hyatt Rio De Janeiro
Hotel is great. Lovely pools. Beach across the road from hotel is lovely. But it’s a 1 hour taxi from Copacabana beach. There is nothing else near the hotel. All hotels / apartments have gated entry.

Regency Barra Hotel
Swimming pool is very small. It is across the road from the beach. The rooms are nicely air conditioned. Staff don’t have much of a personality. They are not bad but not great either. Windsor Oceanico
We were upgraded to a nicer room that had a nice beach view! All the staff members are so nice and very professional, a lot of food options near by. Hotel breakfast is good and my only negative comment is about the pool it is small.
