"Clean room and helpful staff. We enjoyed the beautiful restaurant and pool that included an outdoor bar. The service in each was excellent. The view is exceptional. The room was small but fine for our needs. We did have a minor complaint about the policy prohibiting outside alcohol. "It was a good location by the river but an enormous building was going up right across from the entrance to the hotel. Construction wasn't particularly loud, but trucks and workers seemed to be everywhere. I wish I had known there was a wedding Friday night and another one Saturday night. I know weddings are inevitably happy events but some of the guests partied into the morning hours. I ended up leaving a day early to avoid two nights in a row of celebrations. "For an overnight stay this was perfect. Close to the beach, good breakfast, water and coffee available 24 hours. The bed was comfortable. Walls are a little thin. Overall, good value for the money."

"Well you get what you pay for. The room smelled of heavy cleaning chemicals. The bathroom smelled like weed the whole time. At one point the whole room smelled like weed. The TV didn’t work. The port in the main night stand had the wire cut out. Hair in the bathroom and the room itself looked like something out of an horror movie. No bugs which is the reason I stayed and didn’t run for the hills."
