Me and the wife was expecting the Washington suite which is in the main manor. The pictures of the room clearly shows the arched windows of the house. We went there for the experience of the Manor. What we got was there so called suite room which was a basement under the house. I overlooked that. But when we went to sleep, the outdoor lighting kept us up ,because it shined in our room all night. They had no drapes to close, just blinds. Room was warm, the bed was horrible. Told the owner in the morning, we had to leave because we could not sleep. He did not offer anything. They charged us for two nights even though we only stayed one night. Worst place as comfort goes I ever stayed at. Was clean though. I did not want to stay in a basement/so called suite. I paid for a room up stairs never received it or money back. Have pictures to back it up.

Gorgeous!

Absolutely wonderful experience overall and we would highly recommend. The property and views were beautiful and the owner was helpful and nice as could be. He even gave us a tour. The check-in process was extremely simple and the room was very comfortable.

The highest level of comfort and elegance was present in all aspects of our stay at Lafayette Manor. Les and Oksana were gracious hosts who provided beautiful and delicious breakfasts, coffee at the ready, any other requests as they came up, as well as an evening glass of wine. The linens were fresh and rooms very clean. The common area provided a full kitchen, sitting areas, as well as a balcony with a beautiful countryside view. By far, Lafayette Manor is the nicest B & B in which my husband and I have ever stayed. Lovely!

Wonderful time here! Stayed for my son's FLW family day looking for some more room to take him off base and relax a bit & this was perfect. Bigger than a hotel & didn't want to sit in a restaurant and so homey! Les & Oksana were so kind & welcoming. If you're looking for somewhere to take you & your soldier on family day this is lovely.

It is unique place to stay and enjoy. It is unfair to compare to any hotel chain because if you would rate best hotel chain at 10 then this is solid 30. And this 30 goes to people, food, building and room.

Never visited. Got a call the night before our reservation,from the owner. Expedia had booked all the rooms back in June, never should have been able to book with Hotels.com . Luckily the owners have a townhouse several miles away that we were able to use, so not a total loss.

I loved the quaint and gorgeous location of the manor. The hosts, Les and Oksana, were very kind and interesting. The homemade breakfast was beautiful and delicious, not to mention more than filling. The other guests were fun to learn a little bit about and we had a great experience over all.

Treasure in Missouri

Awesome caretakers who took extra steps to make our stay as comfortable as home. Location is 7 minute drive from the exit to Ft Leonard Wood. We had a spacious room with a gathering room on same level for hanging out and enjoying friends and family. Will definitely be back when in the area!
