"Great location on a beautiful part of the river. The hotel definitely needs updating but it was clean and cozy. The guy working the front desk was extremely friendly and kind. We will definitely stay here again. "

"Great Stay with kids - walk to the park, eat next door at iconic Yecks drive in, short drive into town and the state park for swimming. Kids really enjoyed their stay. Also only a short drive to Mackinac City, the Michilimackinac Fort and St. Ignace across the mighty Mac. Bridge. "

"Quiet peaceful home the hosts are fantastic friendly knowledgeable and had no problem with special requests we had. We were on the third floor with a spacious room and view of the water. We loved the porch with several rocking chairs to relax. Afternoon tea and cookies was something we looked forward to everyday. Fresh water always available to drink.The breakfast was good, choice of a hot dish fresh muffins bagels and toast. Yougurt and hot and cold cereal and juice. Highly recommend it but...

"Great location "

"Hotel was clean, quiet. Kids loves the hot tub! They listed it as a pool but definitely a hot tub. Only complaint is the hair dryer plug was messed up so it didn't work well but I informed them of this at checkout. Desk staff were very polite and helpful."

"Outstanding customer service and an incredibly friendly team! I accidentally left my phone at the hotel after leaving the island, but when I called, the staff quickly located it, packaged it with care, and sent it to me on the next ferry to the mainland. Thank you for the excellent service you provided to me and my family!"

"We loved our stay at Lake View! It was easy to access, pool was on hand, conveniently located to ferry, and staff were so nice. We definitely will return. "
