This is a quiet, lovely sanctuary slightly removed from a busy world. If you wish to spend some time in quiet contemplation while also enjoying comfortable amenities and close proximity to fine dining it is hard to beat.

A beautiful retreat in the mountains with lovely scenic views. If you are looking for peace and tranquility this is the place to go. AC worked as well as in the states which was not the case elsewhere. The morning breakfast was delightful with many choices. All employees were so accommodating. We chose to do the tour of the church, convent and winery which was filled with so much history. For only 15 euro it was well worth it and the tour ended with wine and snacks on a beautiful balcony.

I loved the history of the place and the amazing view to the Southern Pre-Alps. I walked down the cobble road to the Local restaurant and had a wonderful meal and met lots of friendly locals. I found a footpath on the way back up to the Monastery and ended up at the very top of the mountain where there was a cross and old ruins The manager on duty allowed me to park my motorbike in the inner square which added to my peaceful sleep that night.

We had a great stay at this beautifully restored 15th century convent overlooking the vineyards of Franciacorta. Our 2 bedroom/2 bath family suite was spacious and immaculate, with comfortable beds and modern conveniences (great wifi, AC). There were charming details everywhere, including a library and the expansive terrace where we enjoyed breakfast. Best of all were Francesca and the friendly, welcoming staff who gave us good directions and were accommodating when we arrived late.

We had a wonderful two night stay here as part of our honeymoon trip. The highlight was the welcome and helpfulness of the staff (Adriana?) The property is incredible and full of history. At the top of a hill on the southern edge of the Franciacorta area, it’s a good base to explore. However unless you are a serious hiker it will be best by car, as the hill is steep. We enjoyed a tour of the property and telling of its history as well as a wine tasting. The rooms were clean and comfortable but spartan, I suppose in keeping with being a convent.

Fully recommended. Over all excellent stay, thanks to Fabiana and Davide, and their 5 star hospitality. Room was in immaculate condition, good size, proper AC and beautiful. Breakfast was out if this world. Hotel was a convent, and maintains its originality mixed with modern. Dont have enough words to describe Fabiana's hospitality and proactivity.

La struttura è affascinante: un antico monastero su di un colle che domina le propaggini della Pianura Padana, là dove incontra il territorio della Franciacorta. La camera è semplice ma ha tutto ciò che è necessario per un buon sonno ristoratore. Il personale è discreto e cortese, anche se durante la notte non è presente in struttura se non a mezzo chiamata telefonica. Siamo arrivati al limite dell'orario di check in e siamo tuttavia stati attesi e accolti con professionalità e cortesia. Al mattino, abbiamo consumato una buona colazione dolce-salato, semplice ma completa, con dolci freschi -notevole il dolce con canditi di albicocche, evidentemente di pasticceria. Ma il vero incanto è poter passeggiare di notte dentro il chiostro o all'esterno nella quiete più totale. Ottimo il sistema di condizionamento, noi abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte d'estate e l'intenso caldo esterno, fino a 34 gradi, non ci ha minimamente disturbato. Per impegni di lavoro, non abbiamo potuto approfittare della visita alla cantina e relativo assaggio. Sarà per la prossima volta! Consigliato.
