"My husband and I have stayed at the Sheraton for over 20 years consecutively for our anniversary. Some of the recent changes have us questioning if we will return. The cost for parking and ancillary hotel fees were new to us this time and really add up. The cost for the beach chairs and umbrellas have doubled over the years. The poolside cafe has been replaced with a food truck and the shop inside that once offered beach clothing and various other items was dark. Nobody could tell me why or even if the shop would return. Our room was clean upon arrival, room service was on time and food was good. The air conditioner was extremely loud. Music by the pool was extremely loud which was a personal boom box of one of the guests. Just not the professional facility we have experienced in the past and more costly. One final comment, midway through our stay, we attempted to pay on our bill that was accumulating related to the hotel daily costs. We were told they could not accept it until the end of our stay."
