"La Quinta Inn & Suites is a good basic hotel, the room are nice and large, very clean with an ample bathroom and shower stall. A good breakfast is included daily. And there is a nice gym and pool to stay in shape while traveling. The lobby amenities could have been more interesting and varied, and the coffee quality needs improving. Otherwise everything was very comfortable."

"Pool and hot tub were inder going maintenance bit we didn’t knock the hotel for that. Onsite laundry was helpful. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Spacious bathroom. Only knock is the carpet in the hallways look really old and worn."

"Honestly Worth the money we spent, we got to enjoy 3 days in downtown Salem whilst staying here at this property. The only bad thing is that there was a “cat pee” odor in the bathroom so we kept the door shut and even bought a bottle of Lysol spray so we can withstand using the bathroom. The vent in the bathroom was filled with dust as well. That’s my only complaint if you will. The staff at the front desk were very nice informative and helpful. I enjoyed my stay here besides the bathroom mishap but we didn’t let that ruin our fun adventures."

"Nice hotel in downtown Portsmouth that makes everything walkable. Do not like having to pay $45 a day for parking when I am already paying a premium rate for my room."
