"We came to this Holiday Inn Express after booking with a different hotel on the other side of town and finding it in much worse condition than advertised. The staff at HIE were very friendly amd accommodating. The lobby and breakfast area are clean, modernized, and spacious- and the breakfast offering was fantastic. The room was clean, bedding comfy, we had a mini fridge and microwave to use, and plenty of room in our double king suite for our family of 5. Pool and workout facility was beautiful- they have a sauna, too, but we didn't use it. The hotel is on the opposite end of down town, but the quality of your stay is worth the extra drive. Highly recommend!"

"Owner helped us with our accommodations due to Expedia's incorrect booking. Instead of rooms with king size beds, Expedia "booked" rooms with queen beds. One phone call and we received correct rooms. We did enjoy our stay at the motel, which is located very close to historical downtown of Cañon City, hiking trails and other attractions.
