The hotel was clean and also very next to tram stop which is going to city centres. Was surprised when they provide all of us with transport pass for the entire stay. Breakfast options are limited but very healthy foods. Rooms were spacious. Only thing noticed is bathroom doesn’t have a lock. But overall it’s a superb place to stay and would recommend anyone coming to Salzburg

Family room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was of an Austrian style which provided nutritious options. Area has not many places to eat- we ate in the centre. Restaurants and shops closed earlier than other European cities.

Lovely place to stay. Has an on site restaurant and easy access via a tram stop at effectively their front door makes for easy access to the city. Wished I had booked here first versus a pricy hotel near the train station.

Ideal Location

Clean rooms and a comfy bed. A quiet area just a few minutes bus ride from the city centre. 30 mins from the Airport. The location was simply ideal for us.

Fourside Hotel Salzberg

Late booking, as let down by another hotel and was totally surprised how well presented this hotel was. Excellent customer service and cleanliness of room. Would recommend this hotel anytime.

Decent hotel for the price point

Stayed here with my family. Appreciated the larger room size and the price point, but the room and hallways were carpeted with very old, worn dusty carpet. No hot water kettles in the room, which is atypical in Austria. The mini-fridge didn’t seem to keep our food very cold. There’s a bus stop right outside the hotel, so easy to get to other parts of Salzburg. Remember to ask the front desk to print a free transport voucher, valid for all travel within Salzburg province (even on regional trains)

I booked this hotel at the last minute after my experience at another hotel which was a disaster. i wish I would have found this hotel earlier. Clean, modern with all the facilities one expects in a modern hotel at a great price.

Very comfortable beds

Clean and very comfortable bed. However the towels are old and realy outdated . Needs to have bathroom supllies plus no grabage containers. Other then these, it was great room and spent a very comfortable night in this hotel.

Convenient Hotel,

the beds are comfy, the staff were not as friendly or well trained as I thought, It took the girl at least 5 minutes trying to locate my booking. And she told me that she could not find my findings. I have to tell her to search based upon last name and she suddenly found it. But, it took like 5 minutes. Very limited parking space and the garage downstairs space very tiny. It''s very easy to scraped the cars. Breakfast is ok.

Was good, Dan thinks the blankets are too short. There was no kettle for tea or coffee in the room. But the room was cozy and nice. Bus stop was right outside hotel which was ideal

Good, safe, and convenient location with easy access to public transportation (bus stop) just a minute away by walk. We took the Salzburg card and rode around (mostly lines 1 and 8). We drove from Munich and needed to park our car. They have parking right outside the hotel but the spots could get filled up quickly. The other option is to park in the garage which isn't free. The room was clean and spacious with modern amenities and we were well-rested after a full day of sightseeing. Not the best value and prices are a bit higher but we still went with it for the Fourside brand as it was our first time in Salzburg. Overall, we had an lovely stay!

Nice hotel with helpful staff. My only complaint is that I was in a room facing the street. A festival, think Oktoberfest type, was ongoing just at the end of the street. The street noise was very loud as lots of people were walking to the festival, as well as cars driving by. This lasted until late at night. The a/c had not been turned on yet, so I had to keep the window open for air, so the noise was a big issue.

Breakfast was good (but costly) and the hotel generally is spacious and very friendly staff. But they lack a lot of things like the basic toiletries, and no telephone in the room makes things more difficult. The rooms are not at all spacious. There was a suffocating smell when the room was opened for the first time. Not even a kettle and coffee is available in the room. No drinks in the refrigerator either. And comparing the facilities we get for this price, it is definitely a no-deal.
