"Very friendly host. The beds and pillows were SO comfortable. I loved waking up and sitting on our balcony listening to the cows and goats and looking at the beautiful scenery. So peaceful. Highly recommend!"

"Staff were friendly initially until it came to paying the tourist tax which she wanted in cash. Once we explained that we had no cash but were happy to pay by card she became quite angry as she would be charged extra for the transaction using her card reader. It made us feel so uncomfortable I even asked for a refund for our stay which we had booked 2 hours earlier to which she simply replied "no" and "why" . "My brother and I visited Bad Gastein to trail run and do other adventures in the mountains. This a great stay for our priorities. The staff was super helpful, the space felt authentically Austrian alps, and the breakfast was great. They even made us sack lunches on the days we would miss breakfast due to early starts. The only downside is that the hotel is off the main road in and our of Bad Gastein so the direct bus service is limited after about 4pm."

"Great stay except at the beginning we could not reach the property contact for the WiFi info. Later that week they put up a sheet in the entry area with that info. Great location"
