This is a very good hotel that could be excellent with some minor tweaks. First let me start with the good stuff.
POSITIVES
1) Great location--the ski lift is literally outside of the hotel:) and the hotel is located in the very heart of the Borovets ski resort.
2) Kids Club--my kids loved it. It is open from 4-10PM daily and the animators (especially Dar) are great!
3) Spa-- there are 4 saunas, one Turkish Bath, one steam room, a pool (all included), and excellent massage services (for extra pay)--it was great to relax in the spa after a long day skiing, but there were some issues..read more below
THINGS TO IMPROVE
1) WIFI--the wifi in the lobby of the hotel was good, but in our room the signal was very weak and it disconnected every 5 minutes so we basically had no wifi--even though the hotel is advertised as wifi inclusive
2) Spa Management--The spa facility is great, but is not well managed--especially at night when it gets busy there is a sense of anarchy---kids are allowed to go into the saunas and horse around making a lot of noise and causing a lot of commotion (technically, kids under 12 are not allowed, but this is not observed); NOISY-technically there are signs that the SPA is a quiet area, but the sign reminding people not to use cell phones and speak loudly is poorly placed and none of the stuff reminds guests to observe the rules; PLASTIC CUPS--at night the spa at times feels like a pub--with plastic cups all over the floor and the benches....not good!
