"relax & calm place, better for on the move traveling"

"First off, the spa has limited hours and was closed the first day I was there; in addition, you have to pay about as much to use the spa as you do to to stay in the hotel. The spa looked really nice, but I never got to experience it. The swimming pool is quite bland with water a bit too cool for my liking and I was afraid to put my head under water for the fact the water wasn't very clear. The food in the restaurant was very good but had the atmosphere was that of a hospital cafeteria--zero character. Even worse, you could not order any alcohol at all on the premises. The big grass area in front of the spa was very nice. The rooms were simple, clean, and without a mini-fridge.The bathroom was big and nice, except for the old shower door that didn't close so all the shower water would go out onto the bathroom floor making it very slippery. I had to dry it with my towels afterwards. What a mess that was. Would I stay there again? I doubt it "

"I love this hotel because is away from the chaos of the city and at the same time is just 10 min away walking distance from the main plaza ! The staff are always there to help with a smile and the food is delicious at the restaurant! This is my second time here and I definitely will come back !"

"The hotel is in an OK location not too close to downtown not too far either the hotel is old and unkept . sink was broken, shower old. You have to ask for hot water when you are going to take a shower at least 15 minutes before. . The rooms are full of holes on the walls. That bathroom is old not McLean The towels are hard that they scratch your body no air conditioner and the rooms are hot in other words. I’m not going back. "

"I came here as a solo woman & this is such a beautiful hotel, I can't believe it is only 3 stars on here. All the staff were wonderful, attentive, & friendly. Great location with nice little balconies (at least my unit had one), on a main road so expect noise during the day & relative quiet at night. Clean & has everything you need for an extremely comfortable stay in Oaxaca <3"

"Nice hotel on the edge of town. Breakfast was very good - we had to leave early on our last day, so there wasn’t any coffee available before 7:30, but we enjoyed the breakfasts we had. Convenient grocery store across the street for snacks, water, etc. Walked up the hill to get a great view of the city and see other neighborhoods. Great restaurant nearby - Moogone!"
